Library Media Center

Students visit the Library Media Center with their classes each week. Pre-k through third grade visit  for two thirty minute visits, while fourth and fifth grades visit for one 60 minute visit. Students are welcomed to visit the LMC daily to change books or read, explore STEAM centers, and work on research projects during flexible library times. We use the Accelerated Reader Program to encourage reading and reward students for reaching their individualized reading goals. The Library Media Specialist collaborates with teachers to plan research-based projects to support the curriculum, incorporating STEAM to make it an engaging learning experience.
