Peer Helpers

Peer Helpers are fourth and fifth graders chosen and trained to support classmates dealing with emotional, social, or academic challenges. Helpers serve as tutors and mentors udner the school counselor's supervision. They promote a positive school climate, build life skills like empathy and coping, and provide a support system to their peers. Peer Helpers are leaders supporting others.
